PART REQUEST GUIDE

How to request Mercedes parts with a VIN, OEM code or photo

You do not need to know every component's technical name. A clear description and useful photos help us check the actual part, not just its appearance.

1. Identify your vehicle

Include the model, year and engine. Add the chassis code if known, such as W212 or W205. If you have the VIN, send it privately through the form or Instagram rather than posting it in public comments.

2. Copy the part code

If your old part has a label or OEM number, send a legible photo and copy the code without omitting letters or digits. If it cannot be read, say so rather than guessing.

3. Take useful photos

Send a full view of the part, its label and its connectors or mounting points when accessible without unsafe disassembly. Add a close-up of damage. Cover unrelated personal information in vehicle documents.

4. Specify what you need included

For an engine: complete unit, block, cylinder head or a separate component? For a gearbox: its code and the vehicle configuration. For lights, mirrors or bodywork: the exact side and component. Say whether you also need modules, brackets or accessories.

Example request

I need the left headlight for a 2014 Mercedes E-Class W212. Label code: [actual code]. I have photos of the light and connectors. Please confirm whether modules are included, its condition and the price. Pickup in Mullet or delivery to [city].

What we confirm before purchase

A donor car listing does not mean every component remains available. The team checks the specific part, codes and vehicle configuration; appearance or model name alone is not enough. Condition, included components, price and pickup or delivery terms are agreed before purchase.
